Silloth lifeboat has been called out to rescue a woman trapped by the tide.
The woman was on Southerness Point when the tide came in.
Belfast Coastguard alerted the lifeboat and Kirkcudbright Coastguard were on standby.
It is understood that the woman has now been rescued and is being returned to shore.
