A MAN has been ordered to pay compensation after he admitted sexually touching a woman without her consent.
Andrew Duncan Blythe, 53, of Rydal Street, Carlisle, appeared at the city's magistrate's court on Tuesday.
He admitted the charge of sexually touching a woman aged 16 or over without her consent, which related to an incident on August 30 2020 in Carlisle.
Blythe was handed a community order that requires him to carry out 160 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay £260 compensation and ordered to register with police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for five years.
