A PENRITH woman caught driving while almost three times the alcohol limit has been given a four year ban.
Julie Wilson, 59, of Maryland Way, committed the offence as she drove a Nissan Micra in Bridge Lane, Penrith, on May 22, Carlisle's Rickergate court was told.
She pleaded guilty.
At the time she was caught, the court heard, her breath alcohol reading was 103mcg.
The legal is 35mcg.
As well as being banned, the defendant was fined £430 and told to pay £85 costs and a £43 victim surcharge.
She was told she can settle her debt to the court at a rate of £100 per month.
Court records do not show she was offered the drink driver rehabilitation course.
