An arrest was made in Workington last week after an assault.
Cumbria Police were contacted at 6:38pm on Friday June 4 to a report of an assault on Salisbury Street, Workington.
It was reported that a group of people were seen fighting in the street.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Thomas Evans, 35, of no fixed address, has been charged with threatening a person with a blade.
"He has been remanded and will appear at North and West Cumbria Magistrate’s Court at 10am on the 7th of July.
