A MAN has been found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle to police.
Michael Francis Mathers, 42, of Cumberland Street, Workington, denied failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle on August 27 last year.
He was found guilty at Carlisle Magistrates' Court and fined £750 and given six points on his licence. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £75 and costs of £250.
A charge of speeding on July 25 at Wigton was dismissed as no evidence was offered.
