THE Cumbria Traders Markets will return to Copeland next week.

The event will be held next Friday May, 28, in St Nic’s Garden, Whitehaven.

The markets will take place on a number of days throughout the year, with this date being the first in the calender.

Stalls will be set up by local traders such as Sarah Nelson Grasmere Gingerbread, Cumberland Mustard Fascinators 4U, Whitehaven Jewellery Stop Made by Tol, Shaw Meats Pie Demand.

The event has been organised by Richardson’s of Whitehaven in Lowther Street in partnership with Whitehaven Town Council as a way to promote people into the town centre.

Other dates that the markets will run throughout the year are June 25, July 30, August 27, and December 3.
