Workington crash
It has been confirmed a person has been air lifted to hospital after a crash in Workington.
Emergency services were forced to close the roundabout at New Bridge Road in Workington.
A spokesman for Great North Air Ambulance Service said: "We were call at 11.28 am to a report of a pedestrian involved in a road traffic collision.
"A doctor and a paramedic from GNAAS worked with NWAS at the scene and the casualty was air lifted to hospital."
