The Great North Air Ambulance's new helicopter is set to arrive in Cumbria next Thursday and prior to its arrival, the lifesaving service wants you to pick its name.
We asked our readers what they want the new air ambulance to be called and GNAAS has selected five of the best names for a poll.
The new Great North Air Ambulance helicopter could be called:
- The Seeker
- Queen of the Fells
- The Flying Lakesman
- Pride of the Lakes
- Pride of Cumbria II
All names chosen by you, the readers. We now want you to pick your favourite and the winner will be emblazoned on the new helicopter.
The Great North Air Ambulance has secured the new aircraft as their older model, the Pride of Cumbria, has been retired after serving the county on numerous life saving missions.
As well as naming her replacement, GNAAS would like you to give anything you can to its Helicopter Appeal.
