During the Covid-19 pandemic, people have connected with friends, family, services and support through the use of digital devices – and it’s never been more important to know how.
Copeland council is highlighting the importance of digital support throughout the area.
A spokesperson from the council said: “If there is someone you know who needs help getting online or whether you want to improve your digital skills. We are providing a directory to help improve digital skills.”
“You can get help to online shop, use internet banking, learn how to video call, search for jobs, or use social media.”
There is a range of digital support listed in the Social Prescribing Directory that the council released yesterday.
Inside there is a list of useful emails and phone numbers to help anyone in need navigate to the solution they want.
