People who are struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic are being reminded that support is available.
Cumbria County Council can provide urgent help and emergency support, including basic food and essential items, or if people are struggling to cope with their current situation for whatever reason.
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected people in different ways and many people are finding they need a bit of extra help and support.
The county council is urging people to reach out for her help before problems get worse.
They can call the council's support helpline on 0800 783 1966 (Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4.30pm). Staff will be on hand to talk and suggest ways to help.
Those struggling can also email COVID19support@cumbria.gov.uk and they will receive a response within one working day.
