A WOMAN will be sentenced at court after admitting being in charge of an out of control dog that attacked a police officer.
Jacqueline Elizabeth Mcallister Hanratty (32) of Bankhead Avenue, Aberdeen, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty to one charge of being in charge of a dog - described as a large black Mastiff - that was dangerously out of control in Carlisle.
The court heard the dog was so out of control it injured a police constable. Hanratty was remanded on bail until April 29, when she will be sentenced.
