A PENSIONER has been hit with a large fine and a restraining order after being found guilty of harassment.
Thomas Crotty (70) of Newton Road, Carlisle, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court on April 7.
He denied one charge of harassment relating to a single victim.
It was alleged Crotty pursed a conduct amounting to harassment between February 5 and February 20 last year.
A restraining order was issued by the court that meant the defendant was not allowed within 200m of a property. Crotty was fined £250 and ordered to pay costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £32.
