Eager to reopen next week Bookends in Carlisle have announced the revamping of their 'secret garden.'
The independent bookshop has set up two new gazebos to welcome regulars back in the Spring.
Customers can book the gazebos if they want some reading space to go with their teas and cakes.
Bookends is a well-established independent bookshop in Carlisle. Looking small from the outside they have four rooms downstairs offering a range of new full price and remaindered books for all members of the family.
They also stock maps, dvds, cards and toys and have a large selection of Cumbrian-based books.
The book shop regularly organise author and themed events and full details of these are listed on their Facebook page alongside other news and recommendations of good reads.
