MAGISTRATES have imposed an £80 fine on a 33-year-old Workington man who has admitted smashing a window at the town's bus station.
Daniel Michael Irving smashed a window valued at £300 which belonged to Stagecoach on February 26, the town's magistrates' court was told. The defendant, whose address was given as Senhouse Street, must also pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £85 prosecution costs.
Magistrates said that as they passed sentence they took into account the guilty plea entered by the defendant, who was represented by defence lawyer Sean Harkin.
