Vulcan Park Workington
CRAFTS and creative fun will come to Workington in Spring to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.
A yarn bombing event is planned for Workington's Vulcan Park between May 10 and 16.
You can get involved by donating a knitted or crocheted square or, 'adopting' a tree branch or bench.
Drop off your knitted square at the town council's collection point, Workington's Citizens Advice Bureau.
You can also adopt a tree branch to make a large installation out of your creative works. This is usually best suited to groups working together.
The hope is that by working together, the public can create a colourful and vibrant space to lift spirits. For details contact: office@workingtontowncouncil.gov.uk
