PROPOSALS for an Alpaca shed, for use during the 'Cria' season, has been given the nod.
Eden District Council has given the go-ahead, on March 12, for the "erection of agricultural livestock shed to house Alpacas during the Cria season" at Beck Brow, Ainstable.
Cria means birthing season.
The applicant is listed as Paul Hetherington, at the same address.
According to the design and access statement: "Additional shed is intended to accommodate an increase in livestock numbers, 70 births due April to August.
"The proposal is for a an agricultural extension shed 9.5m width 27.9m in length.
