Cumbrians are being encouraged to take part in a win-win lottery.
Run by Allerdale Borough Council, the Allerdale and Lakeland Lottery offers all who take part the chance to win £25,000, as well as helping community groups with the funds raised through ticket sales.
The weekly lottery provides 60% of all revenue to good causes throughout the borough, and costs just £1 per week to play – with a total of just 50 tickets available.
The draw takes place every Saturday night, with the jackpot of £250,000 requiring six matching numbers.
Four other prizes are available, including £2,000 for five matching numbers, £250 for four, and £25 for three.
