CARLISLE College has announced that it's to reopen later this month with a Covid-19 'testing regime' in place.
Bosses at the college will begin welcoming students from March 15.
A spokesman said: "We're asking students to prepare to return following the learning timetable which was in place before Christmas.
"In the meantime, they should continue to engage with their online learning.
"As part of the return, students will be invited to take three Covid-19 tests.
"For their first test, they will be asked to attend only for the test and then go home, to comply with social distancing rules.
"They will not attend any classes in college on this day.
"If the test is negative, they can then return to college when on-site timetabled lessons begin.
"They will then complete another two tests in College on two following occasions whilst they are timetabled to be in.
"All students have now been emailed confirming the reopening and testing, they should familiarise themselves with the information."
