A CLEAROUT of unwanted clothes and shoes has helped air medics.
Members of Eden Valley YFC have clubbed together and organised a doorstep collection for any unwanted clothes and shoes for The Great North Air Ambulance. More than 50 bags were donated to help raise funds for this valuable service.
A plea has gone out to Cumbria’s young farmers to renew their membership.
The movement needs members to secure funding to ensure that Cumbria YFC survives.
Organisers have posted a link for the membership form on Cumbria YFC Facebook page, with the reminder that the under-18s will also need a completed parental consent form.
Completed forms should be sent back to the following email address: countyoffice@cumbriayfc.co.uk.
Penrith young farmers have posted a video on Cumbria Young Farmers Facebook page in support of the dairy industry.
Their #Februdairy video has been put together by Penrith YFC members in support of dairy farmers saying it is important now more than ever to encourage the farming industry.They are encouraging any other clubs to give it a go and spread the word and have a bit of lockdown cheer.
