Help to raise vital funds is being offered to Wigton Youth Station.
For more than four years, Aviva Community Fund has helped thousands of small charities and good causes build stronger communities.
And now, it has teamed up with Crowdfunder to give charities and community interest companies the opportunity to further build their capabilities, drive sustainable fundraising and brightest ideas off the ground.
The team at Wigton Youth Station said: “Our young people tell us they have feelings of low aspirations, limited confidence, worry about their future and many are part of families who face many social barriers on a daily basis.
“We can and do make a difference by investing our time and willingness to understand what it must feel like to be unheard and dismissed by society. They fear what the future holds, fear a real possibility of being drawn into crime and not being able to access support and information where needed.
“This specific project is about enabling young people to experience what being happy feels like and the effect it can have on aspirations and life goals. We will explore what happy means and how to maintain it.”
