FIREFIGHTERS from four stations helped put out a vehicle fire on the M6.
The incident happened yesterday morning between Gretna and Carlisle.
A spokesman for Longtown Fire Station said: "We were mobilised to a vehicle fire on the M6 south.
"The fire was extinguished using one hose reel, we were supported by appliances from Carlisle East Fire Station, Carlisle West Fire Station and Brampton Fire Station."
