Seventeen deaths in patients with coronavirus have been announced in the latest daily announcement.
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which operates the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and Whitehaven's West Cumberland Hospital - included the figures in today's announcement.
Deaths were recorded on January 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 21, 23, 25, 28 and February 2, 5, 7 and February 8.
The latest figures for the number of new cases in patients with coronavirus was as follows:
Allerdale - 16
Barrow - 13
Carlisle - 15
Copeland - 37
Eden - 9
South Lakeland - 12
The number of cases in the latest seven-day period - for the week ending February 5 - accompanied by the rate per 100,000 was as follows:
Allerdale - 265 (271.1 per 100,000)
Barrow - 152 (226.7 per 100,000)
Carlisle - 156 (143.5 per 100,000)
Copeland - 109 (159.9 per 100,000)
Eden - 98 (184 per 100,000)
South Lakeland - 87 (82.8 per 100,000)
The England average is 202.5 per 100,000.
