A drink-driver from Carlisle has been given a £120 fine and a 19-month ban. Sean Thomson, of Solway Park, admitted committing the offence on December 18 last year in Junction Street.
He was just over twice the legal limit.
He must pay a £34 surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. Magistrates at the city’s Rickergate court offered him the drink-driver rehabilitation course.
