Police are appealing for information after thousands of pounds of damage was caused.
Officers are investigating a burglary at a property on Clarendon Drive, Edgehill Park, Whitehaven at approximately 10pm on Thursday January 14.
Unknown suspects entered a secure property, which is under construction, and caused damage to walls, pipes and windows within.
The estimated cost of the damage is between £2,000 and £3,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to PC 2943 Smith or quote incident number 188 of 14 January.
