Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is being linked with a move for Manchester United's Cumbrian goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

Reports have credited Spurs with interest in a possible summer raid for the Whitehaven star.

It comes amid doubts over Hugo Lloris's future at Tottenham, with speculation he could move to Paris St-Germain to be reunited with Mauricio Pochettino.

Henderson has made a first-team breakthrough at Old Trafford this season as well as winning his first senior England cap.

But David de Gea remains first-choice under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, meaning Henderson has been limited to seven first-team outings.

The talented west Cumbrian has always set his sights on becoming No1 for Man Utd and England, having come through the ranks at Old Trafford following his move from Carlisle's academy aged 14 in 2011.

The Sun report that Henderson, 23, is seen as a potential option by Spurs, as well as West Brom's former Man Utd keeper Sam Johnstone.

Henderson's first club Carlisle would take a keen interest in the keeper's fate, with the Blues standing to benefit from a sell-on clause in the deal that took him to Manchester.
