PLANS to build three homes in Carlisle has been submitted.
Carlisle City Council received proposals on November 10 for the development on land off Cammock Crescent.
The applicant is listed as Adrian Gowling, from Wigton, of Gowling Homes Ltd..
The plans are for three bedroomed homes.
According to the ground assessment: "The site and surrounding area have been occupied by a mill and later a laundry and dyeing works.
"Part of the site was used for the disposal of inert wastes from the construction and demolition industries under licence from the Environment Agency.
"The land to the south was a landfill and was operated for commercial wastes.
