NEIGHBOURS who contribute towards scores of good causes are celebrating after they each won £1,000.
Two people who live in Sunnyside, Smithfield, received the prize money after their lucky postcode was selected in the Daily Prize draw of the People's Postcode Lottery on Friday.
It is subscription lottery which sees 32 per cent of all tickets sales donated to charity.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners. She said: “Congratulations to the winners. What a fantastic way to round off the week. I hope they have fun spending their winnings.”
Players of lottery have raised over £600m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Community Trust which provides funding in Great Britain to improve community health & wellbeing, increase participation in arts & physical recreation and reduce isolation.
