Proposals to convert an agricultural building into a home have been lodged.
Eden Council has received an application to transform the property, south of Croft Cottages, Newbiggin, near Penrith, earlier this month.
According to the supporting statement: “The building benefits from a safe and well-used access onto the nearest public highway to the east of the site.
“The access has good visibility in both directions on this 30mph road.
“Adequate space for parking and turning of cars has been included within the curtilage of the building.
“There is no reason to suggest that the conversion of the building would result in any adverse transport or highways impacts.
“The building is in agricultural use, being generally used for the storage of machinery and materials.”
