Police officers in Carlisle have been working with staff at the Lanes Shopping Centre to ensure shoppers are sticking to coronavirus guidelines.
A spokesman for the police wrote in an update on social media yesterday that "officers have been working with The Lanes Shopping Centre over the last fortnight to make sure that members of the public are adhering to Covid-19 guidelines when using the shopping centre.
"This is in order to make sure that both the shopping centre and the city centre is a safe place for all to visit and enjoy."
