The robbery took place at McColl's, Workington, last night
Two shop staff were robbed at knifepoint.
Police are investigating the terrifying incident at the McColl’s store on Harrington Road, Workington.
The robber entered the shop at about 11pm last night, before reportedly threatening two members of staff with a knife.
He then fled the shop with a small amount of money.
The offender is described as a white man, about 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He was wearing dark clothing.
No injuries were reported in the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.
