Police have confirmed a man has died following a collision between a van and a pedestrian.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision at about 4.23pm on Sunday at Brigham near Cockermouth.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance service all attended the single vehicle collision at Brigham Hill Mansion.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "Police were contacted at 4.23pm on September 27 to a report of single vehicle collision at Brigham Hill Mansion.
"A white Renault van was in a collision with a pedestrian, a 65-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics."
