A Cumbrian bar has announced an update of its Covid-19 safety measures in light of recent Government announcements.
The Queen Inn, at The Green in Great Corby near Carlisle, in a statement on Tuesday said: "We are really grateful for your custom, especially in these worrying times and we can assure you we’re doing everything we can to keep you and our team safe.
"We’re open everyday and we serve food from 12pm until 8pm but we’ll be calling last drinks orders at 9.40pm as Boris wants you to drink up and leave by 10pm.
"We’ll be wearing face coverings and you’ll need to as well. When you arrive, as you move around the pub and as you leave.
"We’ll greet you at the door and take you to your table, we need you to remain seated and not move unnecessarily or mix with other groups."
Other measures include ‘checking in’ and a maximum party size of six.
