AN INQUEST into the death of a 43-year-old woman has today been opened and adjourned.
The inquest into the death of Shelly Clark, 43, from West Cumbria was formally opened today (August 3) by Cumbria's assistant coroner Simon Ward.
Police were called to an address at Clayton Avenue in Cleator Moor on July 15 after concerns were raised for her welfare. Miss Clark was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital where she later died.
Mr Ward adjourned the hearing of the Whitehaven-born woman until December 15.
