PROPOSALS for a private training pool in Penrith have been lodged.
Eden District Council received plans for land off Greenbank Road, Eden Business Park, were submitted by Atkinson Building Contractors, on June 29.
The application is listed as a D2 “assembly and leisure” with accompanying business office, general industrial, storage or distribution premises.
According to the design and access statement: “The design of the new training pool premises takes into consideration access and service requirements of the site, together with the aim of creating a high-quality training pool with appropriate parking in relation to scale.
“The training pool premises will have the appearance of the other developments in the local business and industrial estates.”
The News & Star asked the contractors for a statement on the site but they said they unable to comment on the application at the moment.
