FORMER MP Rory Stewart will be answering questions in conversation with Bronwen Maddox next week.
The pair will discuss the Government's handling of Covid-19, the decision to merge the Department for International Development with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the UK’s place in the world after Brexit.
As the first coronavirus cases were reported in the UK, while standing as an independent candidate for mayor of London, he was one of the first public figures to call for a nationwide lockdown.
People can submit emails for a pre-recorded event on Wednesday, July 8.
All questions on the subject must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, July 8 and an audio recording will be available from July 9.
Mr Stewart was MP for Penrith and The Border between 2010 and 2019.
Questions can be emailed to ifglive@instituteforgovernment.org.uk.
