A PROPOSAL to convert a barn into a home has been lodged.
Eden District Council is currently considering the application for the building which is based at Hale Grange, Kirkby Thore.
The plan has been submitted by Ms L Huschka who has outlined her wish to ‘change the use of the existing barn to a dwelling including associated operations’.
The agent for the proposal is Penrith-based Addis Town Planning Ltd.
Proposals include making the barn, which is currently used for agricultural purposes, into a two bedroom home with parking for two cars.
The council is running a consultation on the plans until July 9.
