Businesses are being invited to attend a free online event on workforce development.
Developing your workforce post COVID: A Cumbrian Solution, is a free online event which will be held on Wednesday from 10am to midday on Zoom.
The event will be hosted and facilitated by The Edge, a partnership led by Carlisle College, which has been delivering European Social Funded skills contracts since 2013 and has supported over 12,000 learners and 3000 employers.
It will focus on the changing priorities of Cumbrian businesses and the role workforce development can play in developing and sustaining operations.
Zoe Makepeace, assistant director at Carlisle College, said: "Now more than ever it is important that we are able to continue to support SME’s in Cumbria and fund their skills needs during these difficult and unprecedented times.
"Investment in workforce development is pivotal to business growth and this event will offer businesses guidance, solutions and training opportunities specifically for Cumbria."
The event is limited to 100 guests, and people must reserve their place by registering here by Friday.
