A vets to the south of Carlisle is once again manning its practice, as the relaxation of the lockdown rules has meant it is once again able to offer a wider range of services.

Coomara Veterinary Practice, just south of Carleton outside of Carlisle, is now working on "phasing less urgent work back in," as the more relaxed lockdown rules means there is now more scope for vets to be able to work safely.

The practice said to customers that it appreciates their patience throughout the disruption that has been caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

"If you want to be added to our waiting list for routine operations please give us a ring to discuss," the practice said.

"We are currently offering puppy and kitten vaccine courses, adult restart vaccination courses, overdue boosters (3 months overdue), neutering if there is an urgent welfare issue, and consultations for pets that are unwell."

The practice added that it will still continue to adhere to social distancing measures.

"Given the social distancing measures that we must follow appointments do take longer, up to 30 minutes, so please allow a little extra time.

"We continue to be so grateful to all our clients for observing our social distancing measures and bearing with us at this time.

"Any queries or concerns please call us 01228 524740."
