Work has started on the redesign of the toilet facilities in the John Peel Theatre and the new design has been revealed.
The new set up will increase the number of toilets, offer greater privacy and a more hygienic area for people those who use the facilities.
A spokesman for the theatre offered thanks for the hard work that has been put into the project and said: "Plans for the new toilets in place now that most of the demolition work is done. Thank you for huge amounts of work Dennis Graham.
"When the lockdown is over, we will all probably be even more aware of good hygiene practices than we were before.
"We want our audiences and members to feel both safe and comfortable.
"If we can, we will have touch-free taps and hand wash.
"This new layout means we have five, instead of four toilets, ensuring greater privacy and comfort for all."
