Police appeal after a man assaulted a woman on a cycle path.
It happened this morning just after 8am on the route between Dalston and Carlisle, close to Dalston sewage works.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was kicked off her pushbike.
A spokesman for the police said: "The suspect is described as a white man, medium build wearing a black coloured face mask, black hooded top and camouflage trousers.
"We're interested in anyone who was on the cycle path this morning who may have seen a man matching this description.
"We're particularly interested in speaking to a couple in their fifties or sixties who were walking a dog in the area in the direction of Dalston at the time of the incident."
