A CARLISLE bar raised more than £500 for the NHS with the tenth edition of its annual festival.
The Thin White Duke, on Devonshire Street in Carlisle's city centre, raised £555 with its tenth edition of "Dukefest", started back in 2011 as a free party for all those who hadn't managed to secure themselves a ticket to BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, which that year was held at Carlisle airport.
This year's Dukefest was held on Sunday, but given the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, for the first time The Thin White Duke held the day-long festival of music entirely online.
The 15 hours of DJ sets were all streamed live from each of the 15 DJ's homes, via the website Twitch.
Organisers said: "We will posting everyone's DJ set on facebook if you didn't get chance to catch it on Sunday.
"We are still raising money if anyone would be kind enough to donate. A massive thank you to all the DJs and people who donated."
