Firefighters had to be called after reports of a carbon monoxide leak with a risk to life at Hesket Newmarket.
At about 10.30am three fire engines were called after receiving reports of a carbon monoxide leak with a risk to life at Heggle Lane, Hesket Newmarket.
On arrival at a domestic property crews used a carbon monoxide detector and discovered a leak involving a wood burning stove.
Fire crews evacuated and ventilated the property and were in attendance for about forty minutes.
