More than £700 has been raised for the NHS from a raffle organised by St Bees Post Office.
The business offered raffle tickets to the community, including online entrants, at £1 each with prizes for winners.
Donations will be made to two organisations with the remainder.
They managed to sell 1000 tickets, with first prize of £150 won by Deb Bowler and second prize of £100 won by Corinna Williamson.
Money will be divided between £500 to West Cumberland Hospital and £250 to St Bees RNLI.
With the addition of face mask sales the total for the NHS was £743.07.
Staff took to Facebook to thank the community for taking part and to thank Ann Hoodless, who managed to raise more than £100 from face masks that she had made.
They thanked everyone and said: "Thank you and we'll get cheques out to these amazing causes this week." The raffle was drawn on Monday.
