Enjoying the sunshine has never looked so thoughtful – or impressive – with a family-of-seven decorating their house to show their support for all lending a helping hand during the coronavirus pandemic.
Sellafield employee Glynn Henderson, with the help of his five children, coloured each brick of their house to create a rainbow home to thank all key workers.
And mum and West Cumberland Nurse, Zoe Henderson, was just one of those touched by the idea.
"We've had loads of people walking past the house to see it," Glynn said. "People love it! We've had a lot of really nice comments about it."
The colourful creation took just under a week to complete, and the Beckermet youngsters behind it – aged 12, 11, seven, and five-year-old twins – loved every second.
Glynn said: "We've got five kids off school, my wife's a nurse and the sun was shining, so we thought it'd be something nice to do to show our support.
"It's not just for the NHS though. We want to thank all the forgotten people, like shop workers keeping food topped up and doing deliveries.
"We rely on food deliveries, so it's just a way to say thank you, and to keep up the good work – we all really appreciate it."
Neighbour Dan Parvin was thrilled to watch the house become covered in a rainbow, and said: "I have been working from my new home office the last three weeks, and it has been brilliant to watch from my window my neighbour's family painstakingly colour the front of their house brick by brick.
"Their five kids have had great fun completing the task and it looks amazing – it has brought a lot of colour and joy to the people of Beckermet."
