ANOTHER city centre store has announced that it's closing in the Coronavirus lockdown.

Posters have appeared on the Yours shop, a women's clothing chain store on English Street, stating it will close on Sunday, May 10.

The chain store has more than 140 branches throughout the country and is based in Peterborough.

It's been a well known name on the high street for about 26 years.

It is unclear when the posters were put up, however there is no longer any stock on display inside the store - which is has already been shutdown because of Covid-19.

The poster also states that the closest stores are now in Workington and Gateshead.

The News & Star attempted to contact Yours for comment but did not receive a response by publication.

Last week there was shock after a "To Let" sign appeared above the Cotswold outdoor shop, next door to Yours.
