A special treat for those stuck at home is coming in the shape of an egg-tastic new challenge.

Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland is launching a new competition to help raise some money while having a little lockdown fun.

For the first time, they will be hosting an online colouring competition and help patients and nurses at a vital time.

The charity is looking for supporters who wish to explore their creative side and show their flair for design.

Excited at the prospect of getting peoples creative juices flowing Cath Coates, a fundraiser for Hospice at Home, said: “We kindly ask each entrant to consider making a donation to take part in the competition.

“The suggested donation is £2 however, all contributions are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.

“To take part please visit www.hospiceathome.co.uk and donate today. Be assured that every penny or pound will make a huge difference and will enable us to continue providing vital hospice care in the home.”

All entrants will receive a link in the donation receipt email to download the template which can then be printed at home.

Once you have finished your masterpiece send a photograph of it to events@hospiceathome.co.uk by Easter Monday.

The winner will be announced on Hospice at Home’s social media pages.

Cath added: “Why not spread the cheer further by placing your “eggcellent” design in a window in your home so that passers-by can enjoy your creativity.”

Entrants will be able to win a Marks and Spencer voucher or a stuffed toy which will be sent once the winners are announced.
