The plans for two studio flats were submitted.
AN OLD barn could get a new lease of life after proposals were lodged to use it for holiday homes.
Two studio flats are planned for the building at The Grotto, Yanwath, south of Penrith.
The application, to Eden District Council, states: “The ground floor flat is to be a one-bed, self-catering living space, suitable for accommodating disabled people, the first floor flat will be a one-bed self catering living space.
“The development would be sympathetic to and will preserve the traditional features of the barn."
