Vacancies are now open at North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) for qualified and graduate paramedics in Cumbria.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) has worked with the UK Government to create a Covid-19 temporary register to ensure there are no regulatory barriers for third year students on UK approved programmes, who have completed all their clinical practice placements and all former registrants who have de-registered in the past three years.
The trust is calling for qualified paramedics to join them as they continue to respond to those who need their help the most.
Operations manager Caroline Hastings said: “Here at NWAS we believe that ‘North West is best.’ Not only is it a great place to live with northern towns dominating the polls for happiness across the board, the trust has an unrivalled clinical development pathway.
“Our staff have access to fantastic training and development opportunities; including funding for formal academic qualifications and NHS leadership training.”
All vacancies are advertised on the trust’s website, www.nwas.nhs.uk/careers
