Driving without insurance or a valid licence landed a man in court.
Shaun Murray, of Grasmere Avenue, Workington, pleaded guilty to the offences at North and West Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday.
The 39-year-old was found driving a Volkswagen Touran on Gladstone Street, Workington, on February 15 without valid insurance or an appropriate licence.
He was handed a £230 fine and eight points on his licence.
Murray was also instructed to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 court costs.
