Carlisle’s Lloyd BMW has been named among the best in the business for customer service.

The dealership, at the Kingstown Industrial Estate, won the BMW Customer Service Retailer of the Year Award at the prestigious BMW annual conference, attended by 140 approved BMW retailers from across the UK.

The annual awards recognise excellence in the BMW UK network and go to those who perform exceptionally across a number of customer service and business measures.

The Customer Retailer of the Year Award recognises outstanding customer service standards, based on customer feedback and a five-star rating system.

Lloyd Motor Group was founded in 1976 and has six BMW retail centres in Carlisle, Cockermouth, South Lakes, Blackpool, Colne and Newcastle.

It is still owned and managed by the Lloyd family and now employs over 1,000 people.

At the conference, its Newcastle dealership won the Regional Group Retailer of the Year and Financial Services Retailer of the Year awards.
